MFPS Nov Stamp Release Hop... Day 2

November Blog Hop!

This month's New Stamp Set Releases are
Big City Featured November 27
Amaryllis Definition Featured November 28
Mountain Selections Featured November 29
Just a NotFeatured November 30

Please hop along with us because you have a chance to win one of the above stamp sets! Just comment on the following blogs (don't forget this one), each day for more chances to win. (You do NOT have to comment on all the blogs each day because the names are drawn randomly.)

All four winners will be announced on December 1, 2012 on the Mark's Finest Papers blog. You can go back and comment if you missed a day. (HINT: The more you comment, the more chances you have to win, and comments on the MFPS blog count twice!) The deadline for commenting is 11PM EST on Friday November 30, 2012.

As you all know November is the time to gear up for Christmas shopping with so many sales and crowds. We have some great deals for your Holiday Shopping needs.

"Winter Scenes"

Today we are featuring "Amaryllis Definition" stamp set.

Here is my project using this new stamp set!

#491
This card was patterned after a card my good friend, Mary, made. I changed just a little of the details here and there, but basically, it's like the card she made.
  • A2 size POSTCARD 4 1/4" x 5 1/2"
  • Black card base
  • Dotted mat cut @ 4" x 5 1/4"
  • Black mat cut @ 3 1/2" x 4 3/4"
  • Yellow mat cut @ 3 3/8" x 4 5/8" and dry embossed with Honeycomb folder
  • Black strip cut @ 1 1/8" x 3 3/8"
  • Flower mat cut @ 1" x 3 3/8"
  • TEDDY BEAR PARADE for Honey Bear cut @ 3 1/2" and adhered with foam squares for dimension
  • Blue baker's twine used for accents (Thanks, Theresa!)
  • Buttons, glitter, and rhinestones added for embellishments
  • MFPS "Amaryllis Definition" for sentiment stamp

Here's another project I made using this stamp set:

Tom, Bonnie, and I went to the mountains for a weekend in March of this year (2012) and stayed in a cabin. It rained almost the entire time. To say it rained more than it didn't rain is not exaggerating. BUT we still had a good time like we always do, because everything is an adventure.  This was the weekend Tom took the MENSA test... and he passed way above what was needed by the way. (I always knew he was brilliant, and you guys just thought I was saying that because he's my hubbub.)

I love the "Remember..." stamp in MFPS "Amaryllis Definition" set being released this week. It could be used for military pages, family vacations, important events, life-changing moments, etc.
