I have been so honored this month to be on the Ruby Tuesday Design Team over at Dee's Bugaboo Boutique!  Dee creates beautiful Scripture Word Art and formats them into DIGIS that anyone can download for FREE at any time.  Check back each Tuesday for the newest Scripture Word Art Creation.

Today our Scripture is James 5:16
"Therefore confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective."

Here's a reminder of what the Mini Album looks like so far until I show you the last page below that will complete side two:

Link Up the Love Party with K Andrew

This is my first LINK UP THE LOVE PARTY WITH K ANDREW! I love this because the Link Up Love Party is a way to get to know each other and find new blog inspiration.  You can find all the info with how to play along at GETTING CRICKY.

One of my favorite projects I've made this year is my "Stopping by to say I LOVE YOU" card. You can see the original post HERE.

Project #208 this year

I am so grateful for my hubby and our children! Tomorrow is our 25th Wedding Anniversary. WOW! We did pretty good with our four children too.  We made mistakes as all parents do, but our kids turned out to be responsible, loving adults. I am so proud of them!

I used K Andrew's "Splash-tastic Summer" stamp set. She has such GREAT stamps!

Link Up Love Party: How it Works

  • Link Up Party runs from Tuesday 8/16 to Tuesday 8/23. Winners announced 8/29
  • Grab Kristal's blinkie and post on your blog's sidebar
  • Be a follower of Kristal's blog, and I'd love for you to follow mine as well, if you would like.
  • Create a new blog post that is titled Link Up Love Party with K Andrew.  In your post, you must mention that the link up love party is a way to  get to know each other and find new blog inspiration, mention Kristal's blog, with a link back to it
  • Post your favorite project that you've done in your blog post WITH ONE thing you are grateful for!
  • Copy and paste the link up code into your blog post so the Inlinkz will show up on your blog
  • Spread the word so everyone can join in!
  • You must visit, follow, and comment on the 5 people before you AND the 5  people after you in the Inlinkz. It would be fantastic if you would visit as many as you can--maybe everyone? If you are one of the first 5 then you will need to blog the ones before you and a few more after--as long as it's a minimum of 10 near you in the link up tool/gadget)
  • If you do not do the above your link will be deleted, because it's just not fair to those who work so hard linking up and showing love to the ones on the list. Kristal has two moderators who will be checking this out to keep it awesome!

Here is the code for the link up party

Ruby Tuesday Scripture

Good morning! I am so honored to be on the Ruby Tuesday Design Team over at Dee's Bugaboo Boutique for the month of August!  Dee creates beautiful Scripture Word Art and formats them into DIGIS that anyone can download for FREE at any time.  Check back each Tuesday for the newest Scripture Word Art Creation.

Today our Scripture is John 6:35
"I am the bread of life. Whoever comes to Me will never go hungry, and whoever believes in Me will never be thirsty."

Here's a reminder of what the Mini Album looks like:

#204
Here is the first side of the Mini Album showing the front cover, Aug 2nd's Scripture, and Aug 9th's Scripture:

Today, the Scripture page looks like this and starts the other side of the Mini Album:

DOODLECHARMS Cricut cartridge was used for Basket page 116 cut @ 1 3/4" and found on keypad overlay Row 4, Column 5.

The apples are also from DOODLECHARMS page 118 cut @ 1" and found on keypad overlay Row 4, Column 7.

You Deserve A Hand!

#216
I think YOU deserve a Hand! LOL
Cardbase is white cardstock from Wal-mart cut into A2 size card ( 5 1/2" x 4 1/4").  I bought a 2-pack of playing cards from the Dollar Tree, so I don't feel bad about using the cards on a card since they were 50 cents a pack.  *Black gem rhinestones brads from stash.  Sentiment printed from computer using font "Atriste 2" @ 20 pts. Background papers from K&C "Best Of" stack. Everything inked around the edges with brown ink from ColorBox.  I plan on sending out a couple of cards like this to some special friends who I think 'DESERVE A HAND'. I hope it will make them smile.  This card idea came from PaperCrafts magazine July / August issue, page 25, Designer: Kim Kesti.
Come play with us over at PAPER PLAYTIME where the challenge theme right now is ANYTHING GOES!
